The landing gear is the original standard configuration although it appears that the engine mount and gear legs have been reinforced and refinished.
I’ve yet to decide the desirability of installing wood or glass stiffeners on to the gear legs. All things being equal, I would prefer to, of course, avoid the added weight. More research needs to be completed on this subject.
While I have the original two piece aluminum leg fairings, they are not in the best of shape. My plan is to fabricate new composite fairings.
